PWN Paris Newsletter April 2020
Dear Members, dear Friends,
We sincerely hope
that you are doing well in these strange days. For three weeks now,
our daily lives have been radically changed. We are asked to fight an
invisible enemy by staying home. Some of us are already used to
working from home, others aren't. Some of us are working for big
companies, others are self-employed. We are not equally equipped to
face this crisis, and we, at PWN Paris, are investing our efforts into
providing you with tools and advice on how to best live through this
period and prepare the future.
It's indeed very
important to continue to work on your professional network, to develop
your career and leadership. It's also very important to continue to
promote gender balance so that women can take the role they deserve in
shaping the new deal that we are all expecting from this
crisis.
A new model needs to
emerge from this situation. It's easy to tell that our current model
has reached its limits, notably in terms of the globalisation of
industry, but also that there is a pressing need to tackle the even
bigger threat that awaits in front of us: climate change.
This crisis reveals
that we can all make a difference by staying home, it's as simple as
that. So, imagine what we could achieve if we undertook to tackle
global challenges. As an individual, you can make a difference.
To help you find
your way, in these days where meaning is what we are looking for, at
PWN Paris, we organise several activities that aim at inspiring you.
In this newsletter edition, you will notably read about our mentoring
programme, you will find practical tips for increasing your
productivity online when you are an entrepreneur, and portraits of two
of our members who are leading inspiring projects within and outside
PWN Paris...
