Christmas Coctail Party 2019

16 December 2019

The Christmas evening is one of the great events for PWN Paris. It is the time to gather around in a cheerful and glittering atmosphere, prinkled with champagne and foie gras toasts.

This year, we met on December 3rd, in the beautiful Town Hall of the 17th arrondissement, home of PWN Paris head office .

The evening began with the Annual General Meeting, which included presentations on the last 18 months at PWN Paris and the announcement of the results of 2019 board elections. It was also an emotional moment, with Cécile Bernheim who decided to pass the torch. A Co-President whom we thank for all she has done for the PWN Paris network.

Then the Christmas festivities began around a delicious buffet and meetings. This beautiful evening continued with a show featuring the talented PWN artists who played for us as volunteers.

Sophie Gajan opened the ball by charming us with her voice and guitar. Emanuelle Scelles and Jean Christophe Thomas were able to deconstruct the clichés by making us laugh on stage. Hervé Diochon made us travel directly to New York, with his stunning interpretations of Billy Paul and Franck Sinatra. Tristan Burlotet and Anne Minetti, led us to think about the modelling of oneself and others, through a piece mixing sculpture and arabesque. Finally, we couldn't finished better than with the traditional Christmas carols performed by the entire international team.

But this show was not the only surprise. We also brought back with a book attached with a business card that we slipped into the Santa's hood. An original way to meet new people in the network. We hope that the exchanges were fruitful.

The evening ended with a word from Marie-Laetitia Gourdin, the new Co-President.

Let us not forget that the Christmas spirit is a time to gather our beautiful community and we hope to start the year 2020 well. By meeting you at another highlight of the year: La Galette Art Show on January 23rd 2020.

A big thank you to the Event Team for organizing this event and all the volunteers for this wonderful year 2019 and all that could be accomplished.

In the meantime we wish you all the best for the end of the year.
