Taking due notice of the requirements set out in the association’s By-Laws, a number of board positions are vacant as the current incumbents’ term in office has ended.
As a result, the strategic positions of Co-Presidents, Treasurer, VP Communications, VP Membership Experience, VP Partnerships, VP Network are open for election.
Please find a description of the responsabilities of all Board Members and the specificities of each position. Don’t hesitate to contact Claire if you have any question on the descriptions or to take your decision.
The Board will be reviewing applications and will only consider applications from candidates able to assume the VP position in its entirety. If we receive more than 2 candidates for any position, the Board will make a pre-selection before submitting a maximum of 2 candidates per position to the members for voting.
We will be presenting the candidates for selection by the Paris members via the PWN Paris web platform. This year we plan to have voting taking place electronically between November, 11th and November, 30th, with the winning candidates formally elected at the Annual General Meeting, on December, 5th 2019.
Successful candidates will then begin their new role as from their first board meeting on December, 12th, 2019. It will be the responsibility of the new VPs and their sub-committees to guarantee the smooth running of events already planned, to ensure business continuity, as well as to plan new initiatives and events.
