2020 has now
started, so we wish you and your loved ones a wonderful year.
You may already be
swamped under your work or thinking about how to give a new momentum
to your career ? You may ask yourselves about what could be the best
next step of your professional career or wish to share your deep
experience ? Whoever you are, whatever is your project, you are very
much welcome within PWN Paris!
2020 is indeed time
for new challenges, for positiveness and for action.
Professional Women's
Network is all about continuity, energy and innovation. For 23 years
now, PWN Paris has been accelerating and developing professional
women’s careers as our goal is to support women in their leadership
and overcome the glass ceiling that needs to become an obsolete
concept. Executive women only represent 16.6% of board seats which is
clearly not enough. On the other hand, companies and organisations
recognise that gender balanced leadership improves competitiveness,
financial performance, social climate and corporate culture.
A better
representation of both sexes is a driver of performance,
attractiveness and creativity for companies. Globally increasing the
number of women in management is crucial, however barriers remain:
stereotypes, lack of mentoring or role models, too weak decisions to
impose coeducation... PWN Paris is here to propose keys for a better
governance of your career.
PWN Paris is a
springboard for our individual members to boost their career and is a
pool of talents for companies and organisations. We act together,
women and men, with the objective to build a better society. In that
sense, throughout 2020 we will be aligning our strategy and work
programme along our theme of the year: Talents & Gender
Balance.
Thanks to our new
board and our many volunteers who make the network what it is,
everyday - a community of destiny, engaged towards our collective
ambition: gender balance for a better society.
