PWN Paris Newsletter November 2019
Dear Ladies
and Gentlemen, Dear Members,
The news shows us every day, women’s voice
becomes freer, half of humanity asking for more equality,
consideration and justice. #Metoo movement shows us how difficult is
the way to break the straitjacket of habits, the weight of a culture,
how complex is the way to reach equality. This debate is legitimate,
it is our society, it is our responsibility to change the world, we
are all, women and men, agents of change.
Good vibes with the recent Nobel Prize in
Economics awarded to Esther Duflo, Christine Largarde’s nomination
at Head of European Central Bank, Ursula von der Leyen, elected
President of European Commission, the European Union has appointed
Kristalina Georgieva to Head of the International Monetary Fund,
Margrethe Vestager is recognized as Personality of the Year as
Executive Vice President-Designate of the European Commission for a
Europe fit for the Digital Age… Strong women and role models
however, this is clearly not enough, the numbers are stubborn and we
have only 15% of women at executive level, this figure does not
evolve.
PWN Paris is a pool of 700 talents, cross-sectors
and international, 4000 talents across more than 20 city networks. Do
not hesitate to contact us, to meet us, on November 28th during
the Welcome
cocktail is a good opportunity to understand the value
proposition of PWN Paris. Take part in the vote to elect the
new PWN Paris board. Voting will be open until November 26th and the
results will be announced at our Annual
General Assembly planned on December 3rd. The Christmas
Party, one of the most fabulous opportunity to network, but not
only lot of fun at the agenda. Thanks to join
us.
Hope to see you and continue the conversation to
develop and accelerate women’s careers.
Happy November.
