Viviane de Beaufort is a leading academic for European business law and governance. She is a professor at ESSEC, co-director of the European Centre for Law and the Economy and co-director of the law degree course at ESSEC.
She is active in several think tanks pertaining to European law and governance. Viviane de Beaufort is also actively involved in the promotion of women to positions of leadership. She created ESSEC’s study course for women entrepreneurs and the Women Be European Board Ready programme.
Viviane holds a doctorate in law from Paris I Sorbonne and a Master in Political Science from Paris X.
